It all started with one little mermaid.

When my daughter was four, I started looking for a puzzle for her for Christmas.

I wanted something she would love playing with — something beautiful, imaginative, and developmentally meaningful.

But I also wanted her to see herself in the picture.

I searched and searched, and I couldn't find the magical representation I was looking for.

So I made one myself.

That little mermaid puzzle became something much bigger than I expected. My daughter played with it again and again. As she grew, I watched her become more confident putting the pieces together, returning to it, and finding joy in the world we had created for her.

And now, years later, she's still part of the creative process.

What started with one little mermaid is becoming a whole world of imagination, adventure, and possibility — created so more children can see themselves as the heroes of their own stories.
