Why puzzle play
More than a puzzle.
For little ones, putting a puzzle together is a lot more than matching pieces. It's a chance to explore shapes, practice problem-solving, develop hand-eye coordination, focus on a challenge, and feel the satisfaction of figuring something out.
Spatial thinking
Learning how shapes, positions, and pieces fit together.
Problem solving
Trying, adjusting, and figuring out what works.
Focus & persistence
Staying with a challenge and trying again when a piece doesn't fit.
Fine-motor skills
Using little hands to pick up, turn, place, and connect pieces.
Our philosophy
The magic comes first.
We design puzzles to be played with, again and again. When a child loves the world in front of her, she stays with it longer, tries again when a piece doesn't fit, and feels proud when the picture comes together. The skills are a natural part of play, not the point of it.
What the research shows
Sources on the way.
We're gathering properly sourced research on puzzle play and early childhood. We'll share it here with full references, rather than making claims we can't back up.
